Smartec released Day/Night camera with 0.04 lux and 540 TVL
Smartec is proud to present new STC-3009 Day/Night cameras supplied with removable IR cut filter and capable to generate quality video signal with 540 TVL resolution at up to 0,08/0,04 lux of min illumination.
- (1888PressRelease) July 28, 2010 - Smartec product line has supplemented with STC-3009 Day/Night cameras supplied with removable IR cut filter and capable to generate quality video signal with 540 TVL resolution at up to 0,08/0,04 lux of min illumination. This Day/Night camera is equipped with 1/3" SONY Super HAD II CCD, featuring enhanced color rendering, DNR (digital noise reduction, auto gain control (AGC), flickerless/backlight compensation. Also this Day/Night analog allows installer to mount lenses with auto iris (AI) controlled by DC or video signal.
This Day/Night camera features Sony SuperHAD II CCD and DSP HQ1 processor enabling Smartec Day/Night cameras to produce clear video with 540 TVL in bright, artificial or natural light conditions. In low light Smartec analog camera uses AGC (auto gain control, that increases the signal level at 26 dB.
Round-the-clock video surveillance is provided by removable IR cut filter, which switches analog between "Day" and "Night" modes. With a decrease of illumination level up to 2 lux, IR cut filter is automatically disabled and Smartec Day/Night camera switches from color to b/w mode. Also new camera can deliver color and b/w video signal at 0.08/0.04 lux respectively.
Digital noise reduction (DNR) elimenates noise component of the video helping Smartec camera to enhance image quality even in different conditions. With DNR this Day/Night camera provides exceptional disk space saving along with an enhanced visual perception of the image.
STC-3009 settings can be configured with DIP-switches on a rear panel of the camera. It enables user to configure camera modes and activate needed functions according to the recent conditions. For example, Smartec Day/Night camera enables customer to activate AGC (auto gain control, internal sync, flickerless/backlight compensation and electronic shutter.
In the base product configuration Smartec Day/night camera can operate indoors at temperatures ranging from -10 ° to +50 ° C. For camera mounting it is recommended to use optional wall/ceiling brackets: Smartec STB-C01 and STB-C02. The efficiency of STC-3009 series in low light conditions enables installer to use this camera for outdoor applications. Depending on temperature, humidity and other factors, Day/Night camera must be placed in a thermal housing. For example, Smartec STC-1230S thermal housing has IP66 operating rating and ensures stable security camera operation at -40 ° to +50 ° C.
New STC-3009 supports different types of lenses allowing user to use camera in different monitoring conditions. For example, STC-3009 Day/Night camera can operate with varifocal model STL-2712DC or STL-40FFDC lens with fixed focal length. Also new Smartec Day/Night camera can work with lenses with AI, controlled by video or DC signal.
