SMART NGO Expands Micro finance Operation in Bagh AJK
The chairman of SMART NGO, Sir Aman Ul Haq aid that the purpose of SMART NGO's micro-finance project is to improve the financial condition of women better and to make them self-sufficient.
- (1888PressRelease) July 22, 2016 - Bagh, Azad Jammu Kashmir, Pakistan: By providing sowing machines to women, the project allows some more impoverished members of society a chance to earn a steady stream of income. The NGO is currently funded entirely through Mr. Haq's donations and he intends to continue growing the organization.
Speaking at their second annual loan transfer day, Sir Aman Ul Haq said that he was proud of how far the micro finance arm had come from last year. All loans were paid in a timely manner for the first group of women and leveraging that success, SMART NGO tripled the amount of sowing machines they were providing. Detailing his ambitions for the growth of this micro finance arm, Mr. Haq, outlined a vision of providing the opportunity for valuable work to impoverished individuals not only throughout Bagh, but all of Azad Kashmir. SMART NGO is an organization dedicated to increasing the socioeconomic capital of Kashmiris.
Started last year, the group has engaged a number of different and ambitious goals. Among its accomplishments are the construction of link roads, assisting local law enforcement, building clean water wells, and finally building a hospital.
