SKY Renewable Energy celebrates their third year as a member of the The Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association (AriSEIA.) AriSEIA advocates for solar incentives, lobby at the local and national level for solar energy, and dissect legislation so their members can gain a better understanding.
- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) June 21, 2011 - In their consistent pursuit of innovation in the solar industry both in technology and information, SKY Renewable Energy celebrates their third year as a member of the The Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association (AriSEIA), a non-profit trade association representing local, national and international solar companies in the Arizona market. SKY Renewable Energy Vice President Scott Young is active in the association and hopes to serve on the board of directors in the near future.
"There is a great deal of disinformation about solar energy out there and AriSEIA counters that by putting out accurate information for businesses and the public," said Young. "They advocate for solar incentives, lobby at the local and national level for solar energy, and dissect legislation so their members can gain a better understanding."
According to their website, AriSEIA focuses on education, professionalism and promotion of public policies that support deployment of solar technologies in Arizona. AriSEIA is a recognized chapter of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). SEIA is the national solar industry trade association and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
In a recent press release, AriSEIA stated that the solar energy industry can become the new economic driver for Arizona. "In order to continue to attract manufacturing, Arizona must maintain the demand for solar locally. A local market created by the demand for solar by Arizona homeowners and business helps drive manufacturing coming into our state," said AriSEIA Executive Director Michael Neary.
SKY Renewable Energy is part of that growing Arizona market in solar. SKY also supports local solar manufacturers such as Power-One where SKY recently purchased solar power inverters for several City of Phoenix solar projects.
If you are thinking about a solar installation for your home or business, it's wise to choose a company that is a member of AriSEIA, such as SKY Renewable Energy.
