Skedzilla now offers the convenience of online appointments and shared resource management to business and non-profit organizations.
Skedzilla is an affordable online scheduling tool that keeps your staff informed and allows your customers control of their own appointments.
(1888PressRelease) July 09, 2009 - Kansas City, MO - Now businesses and non-profits that schedule appointments for their customers can allow those customers to set their own appointments. Skedzilla is a complete solution for managing resources shared among many users. Users can receive appointment reminders and other notices via email or text message.
Skedzilla is designed to meet the needs of businesses and other organizations that want to offer the convenience of online scheduling to their customers and members. For example a flight school student can book time with aircraft and flight, a piano student can schedule time with a teacher, or a health club patron can schedule a session with their particular personal trainer.
The site was developed by Ken Hammond, a software engineer with over 25 years of experience developing high-quality software for well-known companies such as Sprint, Cerner, Employer's Reinsurance and Assurant Employee Benefits. Much of Hammond’s work for these companies has been focused not only on developing quality software, but also on establishing quality standards and training other developers in sound software development techniques.
“In 2004 my wife got me an introductory flying lesson as a birthday present, and in a short time I earned my private pilot's license and instrument rating. That experience exposed me to some online programs for scheduling aircraft and flight instructors which I thought I could improve upon. It was this that inspired me to create Skedzilla. As I developed the website, I also realized that it could be useful to many small businesses in many different industries, as well as non-profit organizations. From the beginning, I've developed Skedzilla to be full-featured, flexible and easily changed to meet the changing needs of small businesses everywhere” says Hammond.
The software is designed to enable small businesses to become more time efficient and concentrate on providing quality services.
