  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) March 23, 2011 - Fish & Richardson is proud to announce that six attorneys in the firm's Dallas office have been named to the 2011 Texas Rising Stars list.

The Fish & Richardson attorneys listed among the state's top up-and-comers are Principals Natalie Arbaugh, Carl E. Bruce, Kelly Hine, Neil McNabnay, Thomas H. Reger II, and Associate Scott C. Thomas.

The Rising Stars list is based on nominations made by attorneys appearing on the well-known Texas Super Lawyers list, and recognizes those attorneys age 40 or younger and those who have been in practice fewer than 10 years. This year's list appears in the April issue of Texas Monthly magazine, as well as Texas Rising Stars, a publication from Thomson Reuters' legal division.

"We've always known that these lawyers are rising stars at Fish & Richardson," says Tom Melsheimer, managing principal and founder of Fish & Richardson's Dallas office. "It's nice that the selection committee at Texas Rising Stars agrees."

Mr. Hine's practice emphasizes litigation involving trade secrets, commercial contracts, commercial torts, non-disclosure/non-competition agreements, trademarks, copyrights, antitrust, and appellate proceedings. He has litigated complex, multi-party actions throughout the United States on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.

Mr. McNabnay handles all aspects of intellectual property litigation and prosecution. Before joining Fish & Richardson, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. A. Joe Fish, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Mr. Reger practices intellectual property litigation, as well as patent prosecution, trademark disputes, opinion work, and other high-tech litigation, including matters involving data theft and software-related issues. His experience in the Lawyer on Loan program through the Dallas County District Attorney's office included Mr. Reger selecting juries or serving as lead prosecutor in more than 15 jury trials.

Mr. Thomas handles business and commercial litigation as well as intellectual property and white-collar criminal defense cases.
