Siteimprove Clients Win Awards For Websites
The Good Communication Awards recognizing communication excellence in public sector and government councils.
- (1888PressRelease) August 27, 2011 - London, England: Public Sector Information (PSI) held the award dinner called Good Communication Awards in London, England. Two out of five awards were presented to Siteimprove clients, Derbyshire County Council, who won Local Authority of the Year 2011, and Lincolnshire County Council, who won Government Website of the Year 2011.
The two winners utilize Siteimprove tools to help maintain and manage their websites. Government Website of the Year nominated five councils, out of these nominations, three councils are Siteimprove clients. Gemma Fairless, Lincolnshire County Council winner stated, "Winning 'Government Website of the Year' is a great honor for us. We have worked hard on the new site but tools such as Siteimprove have made our job much easier and ensures the client gets the best service possible."
PSI recognizes the hard work communication departments across local and central governments are doing with their websites. The Good Communication Awards encourage effective government communication with citizens and employees. The four award categories (Print, Public Relations, IT and Telecoms) recognize individuals and organisations that have demonstrated innovation.
