In a recent interview, Mr. Katsuya said that since the 1990's, China's printing industry has developed at an incredible rate. Since his first visit to China in 1991, the quality and efficiency of printing has drastically improved. Environment friendly printing is set to remain a key theme in future.
Many misunderstand what water-based ink is. This type of ink is actually incredibly environment friendly. We know that both pigments and dyes are used in printing. The difference between them is that dye is easy to smudge and is seriously pollutant. It contains ingredients structurally similar to benzene, which is harmful to children's health. However, due to its lower cost, many small enterprises use dye to print.
Pigment is relatively environment friendly, but also relatively costly. As such, many companies are reluctant to use it. But Sakata Inx has always insisted on green products and practices, starting right from the source. Mr. Sato told us, our products use water-soluble resin and water-soluble pigment as raw materials. They are environment friendly and nontoxic and it can reduce waste emissions during production and use of oil ink. Meanwhile, our factory is constantly improving the manufacturing process in aspects of wastewater management and waste emission. For example, we manually scrape the tank wall when cleaning the ink tank, to reduce cleaning times and generation of wastewater. Mr. Sato believes that price competition will not last long and will one day be eliminated. With the modernizing of laws, people are more attentive to environment friendly requirements, and competition between companies is finally based on a combination of quality and eco-friendliness.

Therefore, the production of paper cup must be non-pollutant and non-toxic. The company uses superior non-hazardous PE-coated paper. The coating machine melts the PE plastic and evenly applies it to the surface of the paper, creating a thin layer of film. The heat is on the surface of the paper, so the film is firm and fixed.
