SimplyCast Announces Four-Day Workweek for Employees
As of July 2017, SimplyCast has implemented a four-day workweek for employees who have served the company for over a year, allowing them one Friday off a month. This change was made not only to increase productivity but also to thank our employees for their dedication and provide the additional health benefits that come with a four-day workweek.

SimplyCast implemented a four-day workweek for employees in July 2017.
The four-day workweek is designed to provide employees with convenience and flexibility.
SimplyCast is committed to providing the best possible work environment for its employees.
The four-day workweek gives employees more flexibility in their work schedules, and provides them with extra time to relax or accomplish any other tasks they may need. Four-day workweeks are proven to provide health benefits to employees and increase overall productiveness.
“The four-day workweek is something I promised the team four years ago,” said Saeed El-Darahali, President and CEO of SimplyCast. “Our company has grown and matured, and is now a global firm. It’s very exciting that we have gotten to the point where the four-day workweek has become a reality, and I cannot think of a more deserving team.”
Full-time employees that have been with SimplyCast for more than one year will be given an extra day off without needing to work the additional time on the four other days.
“Since I started at SimplyCast two years ago, there have been many options offered to employees,” said Evan Maynard, Customer Success Manager at SimplyCast. “The team here is so dedicated and this new workweek really shows that our work is appreciated, which is really nice to see.”
SimplyCast has always been committed to offering its employees top health and wellness benefits and perks, such as flex-time. Employees that are happy, healthy, and satisfied are more productive and contribute more to the local community. SimplyCast is dedicated to keeping talented workers in Nova Scotia by offering unique benefits.
In addition to flex-time, SimplyCast employees already enjoy a no shoes policy, relaxed dress code, and quarterly social events.
“I really enjoy the relaxed work environment and dress code here at SimplyCast,” said Margaret Foley, programming co-op student from Saint Mary’s University. “The introduction of a four-day workweek is exciting to hear because it shows management cares about employees.”
