In another vigil in the cinema the spirit of Jack Bray made ghost like contact with the group and continued to answer the group's questions on his age of passing, and the year in which he was born, this was a touching moment for the entire group who witnessed this spectacle.

During our risk assessment of this beautiful building with breath taking views we were astounded at the sheer size of the rooms and floors. Many staircase's create a labrynth to investigate, with servants, quarters, a Victorian original school room, cellers and underground tunnels.
The Thorneycrofts, Colonel Thorneycroft bought and sold property on a grand scale but preferred Tettenhall Towers to the rest. Colonel Thorneycroft was also an eccentric of the highest order, he was known for pushing his butlers off the top of the towers to test various flying machines of his own creation.
All three spirits claimed to have worked in the tunnels in the 1940s which fascinated the group. Also in another vigil area in the bowels of the tunnels Stuart, Becky, Sophie and Tony were holding hands around a K2 meter as.

We were so excited to investigating the very spooky old Tettenhall Towers which as any seasoned ghost hunter knows is jam packed with tales of eerie encounters and incredible apparitions.
The vast Victorian building provides an unrivalled choice of areas for investigation which range from the beautiful and ornate Mayor's Parlour, and imposing hall and staircase to the atmospheric former prison cells, grim, damp and decaying cloakrooms, original but roofless mortuary and bleak prisoners' exercise yard.
The Norman Castle Keep of Clitheroe has been on site for more than 800 years. There have been many changes in the course of the towns history but the characteristics stay much the same, welcoming folk with a tale or two to tell and a pride in their town and traditions.

The mill eventually closed it's doors in 1969, and the mill is now a musuem, still with the same machinery in place, and even now staff at the musuem have heard and seen many things that they cannot explain.

On our last visit in the main group vigil we all heard very clearly tapping in the room, but the tapping was coming from a variety of areas and on command too, we would call out tap three times, and we would then hear three taps in response. Also white light analomies were witnessed by many a ghost hunter and team as well in this room, white light was seen to move around the room on many occasion.
It was also in the hearse room that Stuart recorded an array of K2 interference, with the lights going all the way up to red on request. The group were calling out for the spirits to go to the green light on the K2 and they obliged to the excitement of the group, spiking the green light to go to red on may occasions
In the board room whilst taking part in a ouija board experiment Mr. Samuels communicated with the group the same Mr. Samuels who Stuart had mentioned earlier, Mr. Samuels described his life at the hall before he had passed over, Stuart spoke of a child chimney sweep stood in the room the child was invited to the table to communicate, however communicate the child did through tapping on the table.
Steve also explained how the table rocked to and fro in attempting spirit communication with a former worker at Holmpton, this had Graham and Tony enthralled.
In the female wing a group were calling out for any spectral contact when they clearly heard the sound of metal on metal on request and a heavy door open by itself to the shock of Andrew, Gary, Sarah.

An unusual feature of the Temple Works building is that sheep used to graze on the grass-covered roof. This served the purpose of retaining humidity in the flax mill to prevent the linen thread from becoming dried out and unmanageable.
A local legend states that Mary, Queen of Scots, spent a night at Whitley Hall in the 1580s while in captivity at Sheffield Castle. This rumour was first reported by Jonathan Eastwood in his "History of Ecclesfield" of 1862. However there is no documentary evidence to back up the claim.

However as the energies heightened during the event so did the paranormal activity on a much larger scale. Michelle a regular paranormal investigator was shocked to feel the bracelet on her ankle ,slip to the floor the floor Michelle said that the bracelet had not been off her ankle in three years, did the unseen hands of a playing spirit child unclip her beloved bracelet.

The sound of incarnate voices from empty rooms have being heard from visitors, and strange black shadows have been seen in the building, and the figure of a man is said to roam around the building and disappearing as quickly as he came.
One of the most incredible occurrences that happened at The Old Nick was when a group of ghost hunters were calling in a circle around a table out in the theatre, when all of a sudden in the corner of the room a really loud noise was heard, immediately Simply Ghost Nights experienced paranormal investigator Mark shone his torch in the area of the noise and to his and Rosey's, Martin, Hannah, Sue'
In the smaller bedroom area of the Tatton a group were holding a ouija board experiment with the spirit of a little boy who unfortunately could not spell his name correctly due to him being illiterate.
One of the most common sightings is reputed to appear in one of the rooms in the old tower where the walls are so thick that wardrobes and bookshelves have been built into them.
From the sounds of footsteps, slamming doors and disembodied voices to a figure shaped mist and woman in Victorian dress- do the souls of the once incarcerated and condemned remain captive and will they choose to make contact?
Eerie voices and ghostly footsteps have been heard echoing through the corridors. Tapping and scratching on the walls has been heard frequently. The laughter of children has been heard in the corridors and the sobbing of a woman has been heard.
Poltergeist activity is a common report with items of furniture being moved, stones and pebbles being thrown, and very loud unexplained noises are heard on investigation.
After about ten minutes Rosey walked over to where Ian and Stuart were, with fear in her eyes, and a trembling voice she said that the door that had slammed shut, had actually been closed, on inspection we all noted that this incident could not been caused by the wind, we attempted to replicate the occurrence but try as we might we could not as the door was quite heavy and solid.
In hangar 19 all groups commented on how active the room was, in one vigil the heavy main door flew open to the astonishment of Olwyn, Susan and Wynn who witnessed it, with a still night and no breeze around this incident showed the strength that the spirit world could display to our ghost hunters.
In two different vigils in the cinema the ghostly spirit of Henry made his spectral presence known to both groups, this was later disclosed at the events briefing at the end of the night.
