- Shreveport-Bossier City, LA (1888PressRelease) October 31, 2013 - During the week of November 11-15, Southside Chiropractic Clinic will be collecting food for the needy at its location at 672 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. In exchange for a donation of 10 non-perishable items, participants will receive a free visit, including exam and adjustment ($165 value).
Now in its fourth year, Project Helping Hands is a community service effort sponsored by the Chiropractic Association of Louisiana. According to State Project Coordinator Dr. Joe Wilson of Opelousas, "Basic nutritional health is important to everyone, yet many in communities throughout Louisiana do not have enough to eat.
What better way to begin the holidays than by extending our hands in an offer of help and hope to those less fortunate."
Citizens in Shreveport are asked to join Southside Chiropractic in helping to make this drive a success. All you need to do is drop by the clinic with your food donation. Suggested items include canned meat/fish/poultry, canned fruits and vegetables, bags of rice and dried beans, powdered milk, cereal, jars of baby food, peanut butter, and jello.
Southside Chiropractic Clinic is proud to have served the Shreveport community for over 36 years. The office location is 672 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. To make an appointment or for more information, call (318) 686-3152 or visit www.SouthsideChiroClinic.com.
