ShopRite of New Milford Celebrates Grand Re-Opening
Renovations Feature Roof Repairs, New Flooring, Aisle Reconfiguration and New Coffee Shop.
- Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) May 09, 2014 - ShopRite of New Milford, an Inserra Supermarkets store, is welcoming customers once again after a full renovation, featuring roof repairs, new flooring, aisle reconfiguration and the addition of a coffee shop area. The store marked the occasion with a grand re-opening celebration, which included the Mayor of New Milford Mary Ann Subrizi.
During the last two months, the store has been closed as it underwent the renovations after its roof collapsed in the aftermath of an ice and snow storm. Located at 814 River Rd., ShopRite of New Milford has operated at its current location for more than 50 years and is currently the borough's only supermarket.
"We are thrilled to open the doors once again at ShopRite of New Milford and welcome our customers back to this location," said Lawrence Inserra, president and CEO of Inserra Supermarkets. "We appreciate the patience and loyalty of our customers as the store underwent these necessary renovations after the roof collapsed and are confident the upgrades will offer an improved shopping experience."
Inserra's Long-Standing Commitment to Its Customers and the Communities It Serves
As a courtesy to local residents, Inserra Supermarkets provided free shuttle bus service throughout the course of the store closure to its ShopRite of Emerson. The shuttle bus ran from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, departing from ShopRite of New Milford's parking lot.
Inserra Supermarkets is committed to the communities in which its stores are located. ShopRite of New Milford participates in the annual Partners in Caring program, spearheaded by ShopRite's parent company Wakefern Corporation.
