ShopClues.com, India's first and largest fully-managed, online marketplace today opened the doors to its Wholesale marketplace.

ShopClues is the first e-commerce company in India to offer an online platform for wholesale transactions. This new platform will be the part of the main ShopClues.com site.
While the ShopCluesWholeSale Marketplace gives buyers the benefit of purchasing bulk quantities at very attractive wholesale prices, it gives hundreds of wholesale merchants an avenue to take their business online for buying or selling. So, instead of simply listing their wholesale merchandise on an online directory, merchants can now get their own branded online storefront and buy-now facility, backed by ShopClues's award-winning technology, marketing, merchandizing, cataloguing, payment, fulfilment and customers support services. All the items bought and sold in ShopClues Whole Sale are also covered by ShopClues's Buyer Protection Policy, which is India's best money back guarantee program.

To participate in ShopCluesWholeSale, buyers have to register for the Clues Club membership and must be willing to purchase minimum 10 numbers of a product from any of the categories such as computers, mobiles, storage devices, electronics, perfumes, home décor items, kitchenware, auto accessories, etc. As a limited period offer, the Clues Club annual membership fee of Rs.999 is waived off for the first year, for members registering before 31st December 2014.

ShopClues WholeSale Marketplace offers two formats - minimum order quantity and fixed lot. As a marketplace, ShopClues does not dictate prices and sellers are free to price their wholesale products as they wish. Wholesale buyers can make payments via Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card with options for all the major banks. Further, they can also use ShopClues Gift Certificates for transactions. However, Cash on Delivery is not available for the wholesale products. So, merchants can choose which side of the transaction they want to be - a buyer or a seller or perhaps both.
