Shinsuke Nakamura – Winner of WWE Royal Rumble 2018
The Men's Royal Rumble Match 2018 Was won by Shinsuke Nakamura by beating out John Cena, Finn Balor, and Roman Reigns in the final four.
- (1888PressRelease) February 08, 2018 - The match took place on 28th January 2018 on Sunday At the 'Wells Fargo Centre' in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was the 31st WWE Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View event, Nine matches were contested in total including three matches on the pre-show. The main event consisted of Two Royal Rumble Matches First a Men's Royal Rumble Match and second its first ever Women's Royal Rumble Match.
Three matches in Pre-show were:
1: Kalisto, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado vs. TJP, Jack Gallagher & Drew Gulak in which TJP, Jack Gallagher & Drew Gulak were defeated by Kalisto, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado. TJP's Team was facing problems at first but by the ending, they totally turned the tables.
2: The Revival kick-off match in which Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson faced Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. The latter team was already in disadvantage because of Anderson's injured knee and Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson took more than enough advantage. The match was won by Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson's team when Dawson chop blocked Anderson.
3: SmackDown's United States Champion Bobby Roode issued an open challenge answered by fellow SmackDown wrestler Mojo Rawley. Mojo Rawley started off great but even with all that he was unable to remove SmackDown's United States Champion from his position. Roode retained the title by performing an excellent DDT on Rawley.
The main event was Royal Rumble matches. Royal Rumble matches have 30 participants respectively the winner can be the only who is left standing after tossing everyone else over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor.
The Men's Royal Rumble Match 2018 Was won by Shinsuke Nakamura by beating out John Cena, Finn Balor, and Roman Reigns in the final four. Besides WWE he is best known for new japan pro wrestling where he is a former three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, five-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion, one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, and the winner of the 2011 G1 Climax, 2006 G1 Tag League, and 2014 New Japan Cup tournaments. He further made his point when he declared he would like to go against AJ Styles for WWE Title a WrestleMania 34.
Now, As for the Women's Royal Rumble Match, it was won by Asuka former NXT Women Champion. After the match Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss and SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair entered the ring before Asuka could decide who to challenge UFC star Ronda Rousey interrupted them, she entered with Bad Reputation playing in the background and confirmed that she has signed with WWE for full time by pointing to the WrestleMania sign.
