Recently, Shindo's independently developed cushion tank systems CCS110, CCS100, CCS80 and CCS50 have successfully met the impact test acceptance criteria and test methods for crash cushions in Europe. This is a great accomplishment for Shindo, as the European standard is known to be one of the most strictly regulated, approved by the CEN (European Committee for Standardization). The CEN includes Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, German, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
So far, the performance and technology of Shindo's crash attenuators have been acknowledged at international exhibitions such as the Intertraffic Amsterdam, Intertraffic Beijing, GulfTraffic, ROTEX and Roadex-Railex. Currently, Shindo's road safety products are widely used in Korea's roadways and are exported to other parts of Asia and the Middle East.
