Shift Global Execs to Speak at Midwest UX on Mobile User Experience Best Practices

- Columbus, OH (1888PressRelease) April 07, 2011 - Shift Global, a globally focused digital design and strategy consultancy headquartered in Columbus, OH, proudly announced today that two of its executives were selected to speak at the upcoming MidwestUX Conference. Edward Stull, Shift's UX Director and Bill Litfin, Shift's Senior Partner will both moderate and participate in panels on experience and learnings in the mobile, local, and social industries.
Edward Stull will co-present a talk with Shift Global client Manta Media , entitled "From Mega Website to Mobile Experience" on Saturday April 9th at 2:10pm as part of the afternoon sessions. It will focus on intenerating the best of a brand's website elements into an effective mobile application. Shift Global worked with VP User Experience at Manta, Marty Vian to create a mobile application. The talk will hit on a wide range of points including determining feature sets, screen size limitations, location awareness, and more.
Bill Litfin will moderate a panel on Sunday, April 10th at 2:10pm as part of the afternoon sessions about viewing the mobile user experience as a business decision. Members of the panel, and Shift Global clients, include Nationwide Insurance, Alliance Data, Manta Media, and Designer Shoe Warehouse. The discussion topics for this group include the role of experience design, mobile for enterprise brands, and the future of "portable experience design".
