Shiamak Davar, Guru of contemporary dance in India and Percept Pictures, joined hands to create a movement through the medium of dance and entertainment.
- (1888PressRelease) August 10, 2010 - Shiamak Davar, Guru of contemporary dance in India and Percept Pictures, recently joined hands to create a movement through the medium of dance and entertainment. These two forces representing the talent and the business of entertainment will now embark upon a journey to leverage their established equity to create a chat show, 'I Believe with Shiamak' which will be India's first ever dance chat show to be hosted by the Guru himself. Shiamak Davar will invite celebrities from Bollywood, Sports and other disciplines on the show to chat on their life, passions and also their dancing encounters. Shiamak will also make all the guests shake a leg on the show.
The objective of this association between Shiamak and Percept is to launch four entertainment and dance based initiatives with the ultimate goal of making a social difference. Both Percept and Shiamak have previously been actively involved in creating awareness about national social issues and have contributed to the society at large through various initiatives, charitable trusts, etc., however together they aim to make a greater difference through four carefully planned initiatives. Currently the projects in the pipeline include a feature film, a CSR activation programme, a large format event and a television show. Shiamak Davar said, "This association represents the future of the Dance Entertainment industry and I am extremely enthusiastic about taking this step forward with Percept. Dance has been the driving force in my life for the past 25 years and today I stand humbled and prepared to give back using that very force."
