Shelter Hope Pet Shop and Janss Market Place Host Festival for Animals
In celebration of all adoptable animals, Shelter Hope Pet Shop and Janss MarketPlace are teaming up to host their first "Animal Appreciation Day" and pet adoption event on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 11:00am until 4:00pm.

Melanie Pozez, founder of Bark Avenue Foundation, which funds and manages the Shelter Hope Pet Shop. Pozez stated, "Our foundation is very thankful to the Thousand Oaks residents and businesses who have opened their arms to us." Shelter Hope Pet Shop has hired four employees and adopted out 72 dogs and twelve bunnies in the first month and a half of operation.
John Paul Pet, a sponsor of Shelter Hope Pet Shop, will be there along with free samples, plus The Future Professionals from Paul Mitchell Schools will be available for hair cutting, face painting, animal grooming, product promotions and promoting the animals up for adoption through social networking throughout the day.
