Young female filmmakers gathered together to organise a festival to honour #metoo movement in London.
TIME'SUP for underrepresentation and marginalisation of all women across the world and every industry.
She lives ...festival will take place on 17th of January 2018 in Café 1001.
One of event organisers Lukrecija Vaupsaite says “Bearing in mind the most recent events of sexual harassment, it is important to get together and show that women are not on their own – at the same time to encourage talented young female filmmakers to come forward to show their work”. Throughout the event there will be screened content produced/directed by females or about females. Some of which are well established with several awards under their belts. We welcome female directors, producers, scriptwriters as well as general public and men J (men filmmakers, if their main characters are female) To tell the truth, we welcome those, who want to celebrate female characters and female perspective in film and TV.
There will before the screening starts – we have a lovely Marina Avetisian performing couple of songs.
