Shared Services & Outsourcing Announces 2011 European Shared Services Week Featuring More Than 90 Speakers, New G6 Visionaries & Revamped Excellence Awards
The Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON), the largest and most established community of shared services and outsourcing professionals, announces the year's most influential shared services and outsourcing event in Europe, the 11th Annual European Shared Services & Outsourcing Week.
- (1888PressRelease) March 07, 2011 - The premier event will take place at the Rai in Amsterdam, Netherlands from 9th May to 11th, 2011. The 11th Annual conference will feature 750+ shared services and outsourcing professionals with keynote presentations by leading industry experts from companies, such as Microsoft, Reader's Digest, Nokia Siemens Networks, GlaxoSmithKline, Heineken, and Lexmark. Executives and subject matter experts from companies including The Hackett Group, BNP Paribas, Horses for Sources (HfS Research), Itella, Genpact, and Unilever will be on hand presenting a number of panel discussions and workshops on regional benchmarking and metrics, opportunities in emerging markets, mapping out and delivering global business services and transitioning shared services from a cost centre to value generator.
This year's theme - 'The New Normal for Shared Services & Sourcing' will highlight the following critical business issues throughout the plenary debates: top-line revenue impact, expansion of global business services, flexible and scalable sourcing models and value -add 2.0- creating centres of excellence.
Additionally, on Day 2 (10 May), the recently transformed G6 Visionaries (the new face of G8) will be unveiled. New for 2011, the G6 Visionaries will highlight individual personalities rather than companies and will feature a neutral chairmanship from within the community. This 2011 event will also showcase changes to the SSON Excellence Awards, including the brand new "People's Choice Award" for Personal Contribution to the Industry and the updated "Excellence In" series which includes 5 awards across shared services and outsourcing's core competency areas: Excellence in Customer Service, Excellence in Culture Creation, Excellence in People & Communication, Excellence in Value Creation and Excellence in Improvement & Innovation. Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony, the evening of Day 2 (10 May).
