Published by the State Administration for Market Regulation on July 13, 2022, Announcement No.9 of 2022 contains amendments to:
• GB 6675.2:2014 – Mechanical and physical properties
• GB 6675.11:2014 – Swings, slides and similar activity toys for indoor and outdoor family domestic use
• GB 19865:2005 – Electric toys – Safety

SGS has published SafeGuardS 098.22 to help stakeholders understand the changes, which include additional exemptions and corrections to figures and tables (GB 6675.2:2014), modified requirements for minimum clearance between swing elements and the ground (GB 6675.11:2014), and exemptions to short-circuit tests and DC symbol marking (GB 19865:2005).

Effective dates for the amendments are:
• GB 6675.2:2014 – July 13, 2022
• GB 6675.11:2014 – transition period to February 1, 2023
• GB 19865:2005 – July 13, 2022
