SGS Appoints New Vice President Infrastructure And Building
On November 29, 2010, SGS Industrial Services appointed Len Beale as Vice President Infrastructure and Building, based in the United Kingdom. In his new position, Len will focus on the management of global business development for infrastructure and building, one of the strategic markets of SGS.

Len assumed responsibility for the global business development of Infrastructure and Building, one of the strategic markets of SGS Industrial Services. In his new position, he will lead the implementation of strategy in this market, identify new business opportunities and support the preparation of development programs with the help of Competence Centers and regional teams. Len will follow changes and trends in the Infrastructure and Building strategic market. Based on his extensive experience and competence in the construction industry, he will identify and evaluate potential acquisition target companies within Infrastructure and Building. In addition, Len will lead cross-divisional business opportunities with other SGS affiliates, monitor changes in the international regulatory environment and new developments in legislation.
Len's strength lies in his 39 years of experience and unrivalled expertise, which he gained in the construction industry sector. He began his career in 1971, working in electrical engineering and heating and ventilation control (HVAC) systems design until he moved into Sales and Marketing in the early 90s. Since then he has held senior Sales, Marketing and Business Development positions in consultancies and contractor organizations.
