  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2014 - In the wake of its massively successful 2013 season of operations, Fear Overload Scream Park has announced plans to unveil its most controversial attraction to date. When asked for further details, owner Nathan Polanco revealed that the attraction would be a haunted house themed around the infamous San Francisco Bay Area serial killer, the Zodiac.

The Wikipedia article about the Zodiac states that he killed up to 35 people in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 60s and 70s. While his killings were gruesome, the most horrifying part of the story is the killer's uncanny ability to harness the media, and terrorize the general public.

Said Polanco, "the Zodiac has intrigued me for years. His ability to strike fear into so many people so effortlessly was incredible. It inspired me to create this attraction, drawing on his story to bring a little bit of that terror back to San Francisco." He also claims that this will be one of the highest budget events he has ever put on. Having received large investment from an unnamed investor, Polanco has stated that this year's attractions will be grossly elaborate.

For some people, this attraction may come too soon. Said one resident, "I lived through that era, and that was enough for me. I definitely don't want to have to relive it. You shouldn't dredge up old bad memories like that." When confronted with this sentiment, Polanco expressed no interest in altering the haunted house.

Fear Overload's Scream Park California is set to open on October 4th operate on select nights throughout October and November. For more information, visit www.fearoverload.com.
