The Orlando area store will host an event celebrating autumn crafts and sewing projects for all skill level seamstresses and quilters.
Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) September 01, 2011 - Fabric Superstore The Sewing Studio will be celebrating Halloween a little early this year by hosting a fall event dedicated to the popular holiday on Saturday, October 1st. The "Fall into Halloween" event will be held at the store in Maitland and will last all day.
Intended to not only kick-off local residents annual Halloween festivities, it will also showcase local seamstresses and quilters creations as well as assist others create their crafts and projects in time for the holiday at the end of the month.
Seamstresses, quilters and crafters of any skill level are welcome to attend since there will be activities planned that will appeal to any creative mind no matter how experienced he or she is. Attendants can participate in project and machine demonstrations; "make-it and take-it" machine embroidery classes where customers can use one of the company's many embroidery machines to create one design to incorporate into their own project; a Halloween hat or fascinator contest where the most exciting design will take home a prize; and other fun games and surprises!
The fall event comes on the heels of the store's popular "Christmas in July" event that put customers in a winter wonderland during the hot summer months. Attendants were given a first look at the store's new line of Christmas fabrics and got a head-start on their Yule tide creations for this holiday season!
The Sewing Studio Fabric Superstore is located at 9605 S. Hwy. 17-92 in Maitland. There is no admission fee to the event and everyone is invited, although activities are geared towards adults and teenagers.
