Seven Seas Worldwide Launches New Venture in Commercial Shipping
Global shipping and excess baggage company, Seven Seas Worldwide, has announced a new service to help people shipping commercial goods abroad.
- (1888PressRelease) October 25, 2013 - 'SeaPost' is a brand new venture from Seven Seas Worldwide which aims to provide a greener and more affordable alternative to the major freight forwarding companies. The offer is currently limited to people in the UK looking to send commercial goods to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Director John Henderson explained why it was different from their existing international shipping service: 'We already have a global network of depots sending excess baggage and personal belongings around the world every day. The requirement of our existing service is that the customer needs to receive the items at the other end of the journey. With SeaPost, you don't need to travel anywhere. We'll take care of everything for you.'
Mr Henderson also extolled the virtues of choosing SeaPost over the other major shipping companies who mostly send long-distance by air: 'As the name suggests, SeaPost does not send commercial goods by air, so although the items will take a little longer to get to their chosen destination, it will be a cheaper and greener option. Plus, we can also send far larger consignments per shipment, helping the customer save money.'
Seven Seas Worldwide are rolling out the SeaPost service this week via their website: www.sevenseasworldwide.com/seapost and social media, www.twitter.com/7seasworldwide and www.facebook.com/sevenseasworldwide.
