SEVEN Production and Events Delivers Full Broadcast Production and Coverage of Julius Baer Beach Polo Cup Dubai 2013
Production specialist provided equipment and crew for the coverage of over 17 hours of footage of the prestigious sporting event.

The company's end-to-end media coverage of the event involved HD recording of live matches and ceremonies and was handled by a crew of 20 equipped with the latest and best in broadcast/filming technology.
In order to ensure smooth operation and immediate on-site resolution of any potential production complexities, SEVEN deployed one of its largest Outside Broadcast (OB) Vans to the venue. The van was fully equipped with a total of 10 Sony HDC-1500R cameras, 3 wireless camera systems, a Jimmy Jib and a Sony MVS-6000 Vision Mixer- all of which were operated by a 25 person crew of engineers, directors and cameramen. SEVEN Production and Events has even managed the highly challenging post-production editing of over 17 hours of footage.
Commenting on the unique challenges that the filming of the Julius Baer Beach Polo Cup Dubai 2013 posed, Pierre Tabet, Operations Manager for SEVEN Production and Events said, "Filming of sporting events is always difficult because there is always a high level expertise required to capture the right shots. The Beach Polo Cup is a sporting event that was first hosted in Dubai nine years ago. It has since attracted a wide fan-base and is now played in 30 cities around the world. This year was especially ceremonious as it marked the return of the event to Dubai after six years. The Julius Baer Beach Polo Cup Dubai 2013 took place from the 17th to the 20th of April 2013 and has been supported by the Dubai Sports Council. It was inaugurated by Maitha bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister and Vice-President of the UAE. Approximately 3000 spectators, over 350 of who were international visitors, were present during the 4 days of the event which looks set to become a permanent fixture in Dubai's prestigious calendar of events.
