The new ColossusCloud zone is located in Ashburn, VA, at the heart of data center valley. The new location is based on ServerPoint's well known philosophy of designing infrastructures for maximum uptime. Our Ashburn, VA location is powered by our own network, with multiple routers and 10gigabit uplinks via Cogent and Zayo, along with our own IP space. ColossusCloud's hypervisors are fully redundant, powered by Xeon E5 CPUs with up to 256GBs of RAM and RAID10 storage devices with SSD acceleration.
The Ashburn, VA zone is now available to all clients and also provides intra LAN private networking as well as all the Linux and Windows templates provided in our other zones. Virtual machines can be deployed with up to eight CPU cores and up to 192GBs of RAM.
