Sept. 29: IOREBA To Co-Host Boat Cruise Event Featuring Sharon McStine, Port Authority

- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) August 05, 2010 - As the first event for the 2010-2011 year, Industrial and Office Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA) will host a joint meeting with members of Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women, Inc. (ICREW NJ) and Certified Commercial Investment Members -(CCIM) NJ/NY aboard a boat cruise around Manhattan on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010. Boarding will begin at 6 p.m., and the cruise will set sail from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The meeting will be held on a private yacht, "Destiny," which can accommodate 300 people. The boat, with two interior decks and two outdoor decks (one covered and the other open to the night sky and city skyline), will sail out of the Shipyard Marina in Hoboken, N.J., and includes a full buffet dinner with unlimited cocktails, beer, wine and soda.
The featured speaker, Sharon McStine of Port Authority of NY & NJ will address the current expansion plans for the Port Newark/Elizabeth, Panama Canal and what this will mean for the New Jersey economy. McStine will also address the dredging of the harbor, Bayonne Bridge and the new site the Port Authority just purchased at the Bayonne Military Barracks. All of these plans mean increased shipping and import into New Jersey.
