Sensory Defect introduces their new album "Delusion"
For all those who enjoy energetic performances and a stunning stage set, you'll be pleased to know Sensory Defect is out with their brand new album "Delusion". Don't miss them at this years Shockwave Festival!
- (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2012 - It all started out as a collaboration of musicians on Myspace...Four years down the line, Sensory Defect have proven themselves to be real road warriors with the energetic performances and a unique stage set and back drop. Not only are they original in their sound, with crushing riffs, melody and undeniable aggression, they also possess over the kind of creativity it takes to come up with great graphic arts for their merchandise and stage scrims.
Trying to pigeon hole Sensory Defect will guarantee for failure. While some songs like "Prophecy" steer into the direction of thrash metal, other songs like "Russian Roulette" are a lot softer, almost but not quite, radio friendly.
The guys behind Sensory Defect feel comfortable on stage, it's their playground and their chance to really capture the feeling of their songs. They have opened for bands like Mudvayne, Hed Pe, Monstrosity and various others in their short time together as a band and feel it is a true testament that they are heading in the right direction. In July they will be playing the Shockwave festival in Amityville, NY next to the likes of Fear Factory and Havoc.
Their new album "Delusion" revolves around the 2012 Mayan Calendar and all the things that are supposed to happen this December.
"We really are not a political band, nor do we have a universal message in our music. We write about current events and topics, and incorporate them into our songs. I still find it amazing when someone who doesn't know what we are about sees our logo or CD cover, and ask: "Are you guys into the devil??".I mean, really? Go educate yourself on what we are about , read our lyrics, listen to our music, contact us on the Internet. Our logo and CD cover are purely astrological and all the
symbols that stand for religion."
Sensory Defect is going strong and they will continue to make a lot of noise until they are heard the world over. Get a taste of their sound with their new album "Delusion" and if you're in the hood, try to make it up to the Shockwave Festival in Amityville, NY on July 24th.
