Sempris Supports the Rotary Club of Minnetonka's Mulligans & Mugs Fundraising Event

(1888PressRelease) September 27, 2011 - The Rotary Club of Minnetonka hosted its annual fundraiser, Mulligans and Mugs 9-Hole Golf Tournament and Beer Tasting for Charity, this past weekend, September 24, 2011, at Glen Lake Golf Course.

For over 20 years, the Rotary Club of Minnetonka has been helping to build strong communities - both down the street and around the world. Eighty percent of the proceeds from Saturday's event will go directly to local charitable organizations in the Western Minneapolis suburbs, such as the ICA Food Shelf; Empty Bowls; scholarships for area high school students; various youth programs for leadership, mentoring, mental health, physical health, and at-risk teens; preschool scholarships; and International Youth Exchange. The remaining 20% will help organizations such as Heifer International; Engineers Without Borders; and many others.

In keeping with its company-wide mission of giving back to the local community, Sempris donated a 32" Toshiba LED TV/DVD to the event, which was featured as one of the premiere items in the silent auction.
