- (1888PressRelease) July 31, 2013 - Sempris, LLC is proud to be an event sponsor of the 7th annual Bryan T. McDonough American Heroes Golf Classic, coming up August 9th at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater, Minnesota.
"We are honored to be a part of this event, celebrating the life of Bryan McDonough and his service to our country," said George S. Richards, Chairman, President, & CEO of Sempris, LLC.
The event includes many player options at Oak Glen Golf Course including a morning and afternoon 4-person, 18-Hole Scramble, and 9 holes on the Oak Glen Executive Course, as well as raffles, hole prizes, silent & live auctions, and a dinner program.
Bryan T. McDonough is a Minnesota hero who was killed by an improvised explosive device during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Bryan proudly served his country and became an exemplary soldier. He was chosen as the Soldier of the Quarter for his Company and, subsequently, as Soldier of the Battalion in November, 2006.
Bryan's last entry on his MySpace site was on December 1, 2006. Bryan's pride and dedication to his mission were evident in his words, "Right now I'm in Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. This is definitely not the most glorious place in the world, but there's no other place I would rather be. Putting everything on the line to defend my country is something I wanted to do and am proud to be here." Bryan was killed on December 2, 2006.
