Sempris Donates to the Rotary Club of Minnetonka's 16th Annual Charity Golf Event

(1888PressRelease) August 27, 2014 - MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - For a fourth consecutive year, Sempris, LLC will participate as a sponsor of the Rotary Club of Minnetonka's 16th Annual Charity Golf Outing. This year's tournament will take place on Thursday, Sept. 11th at Glen Lakes Golf Course in Minnetonka.

The theme for this year's event is Links & Libations, in honor of the 9-hole tournament and beer and wine tasting. The 9-hole tournament has a 4-player scramble format, with a variety of contests and prizes, including a $10,000 Hole-in-One prize.

The beer and wine tasting features many local craft brewers and wineries, and a silent auction with a wide range of items to bid on including gift baskets, a queen size mattress and box spring set, and a 40-inch Samsung LED HDTV, donated by Sempris.

George S. Richards, Sempris Chairman, President, and CEO said, "This is an event Sempris is delighted to support each year, because we see the Minnetonka Rotary Club in action, giving back so much to our local community."

Proceeds from the tournament support the local community including the ICA Food Shelf, high school scholarships, International Youth Exchange, at risk teen programs, mentoring and reading programs in Hopkins elementary schools, and much more.
