- Pittsburgh, PA (1888PressRelease) August 20, 2010 - One of the world's largest semi-conductor manufacturers, GLOBALFOUNDRIES, will utilize Select International's assessment solutions to help staff new positions for the company's state-of-the-art, $4.6 billion Fab 8 semiconductor manufacturing facility in Saratoga County, NY. Construction on the Fab 8 project began in 2009 and is expected to create more than 1,200 new jobs when completed in early 2013.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, GLOBALFOUNDRIES will use Select International to support its anticipated hiring efforts for Fab 8. GLOBALFOUNDRIES will partner with Select International to achieve several goals, including:
