Annual Seaside Wine Festival Brings Four Days of Festivities and Over 250 Wines to Enjoy.
Fort Walton Beach-Crestview-Destin, FL (1888PressRelease) November 04, 2015 - The town of Seaside along with Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation presents the highly anticipated Seeing Red Wine Festival during November 5th-8th, 2015. This is the 25th anniversary for the festival and has a full schedule of festivities, making it one of the "Top 10 Can't-Miss Fall Wine Festivals" by Fodor's Travel.
Thursday, November 5th will be the festival kick-off at Bud & Alley's restaurant with the Vintner's Dinner. Executive Chef David Bishop will provide a special menu with limited reservations available. Friday will be the Al Fresco Reserve Tasting showcasing a wide selection of highly allocated and reserve wines. From 6-8pm, guests can enjoy hors d'oeuvres prepared by local chef Jim Shirley, featured wines, and live jazz music on Seaside's Lyceum Lawn.
Saturday, November 7th from 1-4pm will be the Grand Tasting with over 250 wines available for tasting. This main event is throughout Seaside's Central Square and includes live music, light snacks, and wine available for purchase. VIP tickets are available which include early admission and a private tasting.
The weekend events will conclude on Sunday at Great Southern Café with a Celebration of Bubbles from 10am-1pm. Live music will be accompanied by sparkling wines and a brunch selection. The Fall Walkabout and Charity Auction will take place from 2-5pm at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. This will include a silent auction and featured wine and cocktails. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. 30A rentals are available nearby to attend the full weekend of events.
