Kickstart your design career: Win $3000 and 15,000 collectables distributed with your contact details.
(1888PressRelease) September 04, 2013 - Throughout its 97-year history Sedgwick's Old Brown Sherry has always been associated with bringing people together. The brand's 'Share The Warmth' campaign brings to life the role that this South African favourite has played for many generations. As part of the campaign, a creative challenge has been launched in conjunction with groundbreaking social media marketing platform, Springleap.com
The 'Share The Warmth' design challenge calls for character illustrations that reference the heritage of the Old Brown Sherry brand. With Sir James Sedgwick having been a captain of the high seas, and the sherry itself having been crafted over the century by skilled craftsmen, the brief calls for characters that in some way relate to these touch points.
With 10 characters to be selected from the field of those submitted via Springleap's website, participating creatives stand a chance of winning their share of $3000 and having their character illustrations and a link to an online portfolio printed onto 15 000 collectible Old Brown Sherry samplers and handed our on their behalf.
In addition, all designs in contest are voted and commented on, and shared, generating exposure for the creatives and the brand on several partner sites simultaneously via Springleap's "Bridge "application which allows cross-channel communication.
As Old Brown Sherry has long been a winter staple and bears the distinction of being one of the oldest South African brands, a wide range of unique submissions is expected. Submissions close on the 13st of September.
