Second Annual There With Care Red Carpet Adventure This Weekend
Events Saturday and Sunday to host Cheech Marin (Cars, Spy Kids) and others.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) September 25, 2013 - There With Care is proud to present A Red Carpet Adventure, a musical dinner benefit starring Cheech Marin, Justin Kauflin, Natasha Marin, Zach Heckendorf and more this Saturday at the Cable Center on the University of Denver campus and Sunday at the Boulder Theater.
What: A benefit to raise support for There With Care in its eighth years of helping children and their families facing critial illness. The event will include the following special guests and performances:
Cheech Marin, Cars, Spy Kids and Tin Cup
Award-winning jazz pianist Justin Kauflin, recently signed with Quincy Jones
Denver Singer/songwriter Zach Heckendorf
Award-winning pianist Natasha Marin
Kenny Passarelli, base player for Elton John, Hall and Oates
Boston singer/songwriter Heather Maloney

Why: Families in medical crisis are faced with burdensome day-to-day obligations, in addition to cancer care.
There With Care is there for them, to ease their stresses so they can focus on their ill child.
About There With Care
There With Care is a community of people who dedicate their time serving children and their families when facing critical illness. The organization serves families who are referred by social workers, building a network of services and people who ease the burden of the day-to-day challenges with compassion and care. In 2005, Paula DuPre' Pesmen left her film career as a producer of the Harry Potter films to start There With Care. While on set, Paula met critically ill children and through them learned how isolated and overwhelmed their parents felt. In response, Paula founded There With Care to support each family by delivering daily services during their child's medical illness. Since inception, There With Care has supported more than 1,400 families in Colorado.
