This show offers the ultimate in green living and recycling.
Vendors include: Andrew Zegers (Murano glass and 1920's-70's collectables); Brian Greer (Tin ceilings); Sauble Beach Antiques, formerly Red Indian Art Deco (1930's-70's collectables and art deco); Settler's Way Antiques (Canadiana, native art, primitives); Patty George Pressed Glass (1880's glass); Alan Hoyt Antiques Markham; Quinte Antique Mall; Breakaway Antiques (antique tools); The Nostalgia Guy (collectable tin toys); and Blemora Antiques (Native antiques and art) to name a few. The many vendors will be showcasing many other antiques and collectables including military antiques, native art, antique sporting goods, Canadiana, vintage advertising materials, reclaimed wood, salvaged building materials, windows, ladders, wood boxes, vintage textiles, art deco antiques, mid-century antiques, pine furniture, tools, jewelry, watches, coins, gold, marbles, toys, vintage clothing and bakelite.
A traditional English style market that's now arrived in Canada, the Car Boot area features people selling their old stuff right out of the back of their cars. These vendors are non-professionals, who have amassed too many antiques and collectables and, for only $40, get to clear out their homes, garages and attics, perfect for people who are downsizing.
The Meister Markt is an indoor and outdoor show but if it turns out to be a rainy day, the the whole show is moved indoors. Come out for a great spring day outing and leave with a one-of-a-kind treasure. You can't do that at the mall!
