Sea Island Coffee Wins Two Prizes at Great Taste Awards
Sea Island Coffee scooped two coveted prizes at the annual Great Taste Awards this week.
- (1888PressRelease) July 23, 2010 - Sea Island Coffee Ltd., Europe's leading specialist in rare exotic coffees, scooped two coveted prizes at the annual Great Taste Awards this week.
Hawaii Kona Greenwell Estate Private Reserve received the Two-Star (the second highest prize) accolade, described by the Great Taste Awards judges as "faultless" and as a "complex and interesting aroma to the beans with a hint of fruit and an almost indescribable aroma of the sea...the drink is rounded but with a brightness that lifts it and a body with hints of dark chocolate and another indefinable spiciness".
Jamaica Blue Mountain Clifton Mount Estate received the One-Star prize, described by the Great Taste Award judges as "close to perfect" and as having a "nice subtle aroma with a hint of fruitiness and a nice roundedness".
