Scootaround, the country’s prevailing provider of cruise mobility scooter rentals, manual and electric wheelchairs, rollators and walkers, and other personal transportation solutions, has teamed up with PCL Pure Products to introduce Pure Vehicle Sanitization, a process that sanitizes mobility scooters prior to each rental. Scootaround provides transportation to roughly 50 major ports in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and these improved hygiene measures are in line with the cruise industry's commitment to COVID-19 mitigation when people return to cruising.
Cruising is safely returning after a two-year hiatus, with earlier CDC COVID-19 recommendations soon becoming optional. Pure Sanitization from Scootaround will ensure that every mobility equipment rental is securely disinfected prior to reaching the customer, as cruise lines aim to alleviate passenger safety concerns in advance of the forthcoming summer cruising season.
