Scientology Public Information Center to celebrate Miracle on Cleveland Street with Open House
Scientology Information Center celebrates the holiday season with Open House for visitors to enjoy delicious holiday treats and views its beautiful displays.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) November 27, 2015 - On Saturday, December 5th, the Scientology Public Information Center in downtown Clearwater will host an Open House with special holiday treats from 5 to 10pm as part of the Miracle on Cleveland Street festivities. All are welcome to visit.
Miracle on Cleveland Street is back for the eighth year, where the 300-500 blocks of downtown Clearwater's Cleveland Street District will be transformed into a Holiday wonderland. The free Holiday festival will be complete with falling snow, horse and carriage rides, Santa, carolers, giant gingerbread house, and entertainment.
The Scientology Information Center, located at 500 Cleveland Street, will invite visitors to enjoy their many displays in the beautifully restored lobby along with a variety of fresh Christmas cookies and treats, hot cocoa and beverages.
Amber Skjelset, the Center's manager, said, "We believe that 'the spirit of Christmas lives with us', as our Founder, L. Ron Hubbard once said and are proud to celebrate the Holidays with our neighbors and friends in keeping with the spirit of the Miracle on Cleveland Street festival".
The Center, housed in the lobby of the historic Clearwater Building, opened for community use in July earlier this year. Transformed as an open-door informational center, residents and visitors to the City's downtown can view audio-visual displays containing some 300 documentary videos. These cover basic Scientology concepts, what Scientologists believe, inside a Church of Scientology, an Introduction to Dianetics, and a full biographical display of the extraordinary life and legacy of L. Ron Hubbard.
Beside the variety of receptions for local organizations, the center is open to the general public from 10 am to 10 pm daily for tours offers and makes its conference room available to social, civic and nonprofit groups.
