Scientology Public Information Center Reaches Milestone Number of Visitors
On December 31st, the Manager of the Scientology Information Center, Amber Skjelset, announced that with the close of 2018 the Center has had almost 40,000 visitors from all over Tampa Bay and the world since its ribbon cutting ceremony on July 11th, 2015.
- (1888PressRelease) January 04, 2019 - The Scientology Information Center provides answers to questions about Scientology with its gallery of exhibits containing more than 350 video presentations about basic concepts of Dianetics, Scientology, Churches around the world and the life of Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology’s Founder.
Sophie, a Clearwater resident who regularly visits the Center said, “It’s a really good thing that this center is here so that anyone can find out what Scientology is. I think a lot more people need to look for themselves and find out what Scientology’s beliefs really are!”
The center offers tours, holds small events and receptions for various community groups, and opens up the use of its conference room to social, civic and non-profit groups.
The next major event held at the Center will be on January 25th with a Special Open House Reception during Blast Friday in Downtown Clearwater, 5-10pm.

The Scientology Information Center:
The Scientology Information Center, located in the Historic Clearwater Building in downtown Clearwater, opened on July 11, 2015, and currently houses a gallery of audiovisual displays with some 400 videos. The Center is open to all and provides a self-guided tour showing basic Scientology beliefs, Churches around the world, ongoing social programs and the life of L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology’s founder. The Center offers tours to the broad public and civic leaders; holds concerts, theatrical performances and receptions for the community; and opens up the use of its conference room to social, civic and non-profit groups.
