Scentsy Scores in Top 100 in Inc. Magazine's 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies

- (1888PressRelease) October 19, 2011 - Inc. Magazine announced the 5,000 fastest growing companies this month, and Meridian, Idaho based Scentsy came in at number 85. This was the second year in a row that Scentsy came in the top 100 on this list. This ranking was also number one in Idaho.
Meridian based Scentsy reported a growth rate of 2,904 percent in revenue between the years 2007 and 2010, according to Inc Magazine, with $381.8 million.
"I have been with Scentsy for close to five years," Jana Bennett, Utah based Scentsy consultant said. "I have never seen a company that has had double and triple growth in numbers every month, especially in the midst of a struggling national and international economy. There is nothing like promoting a product that sells itself."
Scentsy also ranked as the fastest growing direct selling company and was the largest company by revenues in the top 200 firms on the list.
The rankings were measured on percentage revenue growth between the years 2007 and 2010 for privately held companies
Scentsy employs 800 people and had revenues of $380 million in 2010. It was recently ranked number 33 in the Direct Selling Industry's 2011 list of top 100 global direct selling companies.
