Scalada Holdings Discovers Large Gold Bearing Sites in Nevada
Scalada Holdings, Ltd and Gold Links LLC have discovered 12 new gold-bearing sites in the Reno, Nevada area.
- (1888PressRelease) April 01, 2014 - Singapore - Scalada Holdings, Ltd., the Singapore-based sustainable solutions group, together with Gold Links, LLC has discovered an additional 12 gold-bearing sites which, according to initial estimates, could yield as much gold as the companies' first collaboration elsewhere in the state of Nevada.
Robert McClung, the recently appointed Scalada Holdings President, said that the discoveries could be particularly significant for both companies if secondary level geological testing confirms initial hopes.
"With gold prices remaining high and the jury still more or less out on the sustainability of the global economic recovery, the need for larger discoveries remains as pressing as ever. Demand in Asia in general and China in particular continues to exert pressure on producers so any discovery that offers as much potential as these 12 sites is to be welcomed with open arms," said Mr. McClung
Initial testing by Scalada Holdings has shown that the discovery possesses gold values up to 87 g/t, while Gold Links' efforts have centered on surface and airborne surveys.
Scalada Holdings recently entered into an agreement with Gold Links whereby it would purchase up to 100 ounces of gold per week from Gold Links processing operations in Nevada. The deal saw Scalada Holdings agree to pay 82% of the London Gold Price Fix for an ounce of gold in Dore form while also negotiating the right to purchase up to 70% of Gold Links' total production once the processing facility reached full operation.
"Clearly the collaboration with Gold Links is proving to be very lucrative for both parties and we have every reason to believe that many more discoveries are on the way," concluded Mr. McClung.
