SC Training Center Announces Post 09/11 GI Bill Approval
New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of SC is pleased to announce VA approval of three certification programs.
- Columbia, SC (1888PressRelease) September 24, 2010 - New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of SC today announced the VA approval of three New Horizons Certification Programs. Students that are eligible for VA funds under the post 09/11 GI Bill can now take New Horizons courses through Baker University using their VA benefits. The partnership with Baker University provides students with college credits and IT certification, an invaluable combination.

Under the post 09/11 GI Bill, eligible students will be able to attend the following programs at New Horizons:
Networking Professional (2008 Platform)
This IT certification program is designed to empower students with skills and knowledge to increase their workplace competence and professional advantage and includes A+, Network+, Security+, MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator).
Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician Program was developed in response to a rising need for trained technicians to work in either the hospital or retail pharmacy setting. In recent years, the Pharmacy Technician profession has become indispensable to the Healthcare field. A nationwide shortage of pharmacists and a growing consumer demand for prescription medications have allowed pharmacy technicians the opportunity to play a continually more important role in today's pharmacy industry.
Networking Professional (2003 Platform)
This IT certification program is designed to empower students with skills and knowledge to increase their workplace competence and professional advantage and includes A+, Network+, MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator), Security+, and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator).
