This free program for not-for-profit professionals will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, from 8-10:30 a.m. at Wolfert's Roost Country Club, 120 Van Rensselaer Blvd. in Albany.
A panel of experts, moderated by Todd W. Polyniak, CPA, director of SaxBST's Not-for-Profit Industry Services Group, will address the major challenges to effective leadership and discuss the "4 R's" that are essential for successfully navigating today's complex not-for-profit environment.
Panelists include James K. Reed, MD, president and chief executive officer of St. Peter's Health Partners, the region's largest and most comprehensive not-for-profit network of high-quality, advanced medical care, primary care, rehabilitation and senior services; Marcia White, president and executive director of Saratoga Performing Arts Center, who has led the venue to greater financial accountability, historic capital improvements, aggressive audience development and reinvigorated programming; and Harriet L. Rifkin, owner of Rifkin & Associates, LLC, who is a recognized expert in leadership development.
