  • Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2014 - The Not-for-Profit Industry Service Group of SaxBST recently hosted "Organizations Must Learn to Not Only Survive Change but to Capitalize on It," an interactive seminar led by business consultant John Uzzi. The program was part of the firm's ongoing "Impact to Impact" series that brings together not-for-profit leaders to address topics and issues that are critical to their success.

Uzzi focused on strategies and improvement initiatives that empower leaders in New Jersey's not-for-profit community to effectively guide their organizations through the almost continuous change they face today. He examined the common barriers to change and discussed three key tools for successful implementation: identifying and engaging stakeholders, planning and deploying an effective communication strategy and handling resistance.
