Save Our Cemeteries Announces Final Lecture Of 2015 Series
"Taken To The Grave: Lesser Known Tombs In The St. Louis Cemeteries" A Lecture By Sally Asher.
- New Orleans, LA (1888PressRelease) November 05, 2015 - Save Our Cemeteries announced today that it will conclude its 2015 series with a lecture from noted author and photographer Sally Asher. Entitled "Taken to the Grave: Lesser Known Tombs in the St. Louis Cemeteries" Ms. Asher's lecture will begin at 6:30 pm, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA.
"We are excited to have Sally Asher as our final speaker for our 2015 lecture series" states Amanda Walker, Executive Director at Save Our Cemeteries. Ms. Walker continues, "Her natural talent for photography and writing, coupled with her knowledge of New Orleans and its historic cemeteries is a perfect match for us."
Ms. Asher will also have a book signing for her just released book, "Stories from the St. Louis Cemeteries of New Orleans" immediately following her lecture. The event is free and open to the public.
