Sarawak to Unleash Creativity at ICCA Congress in Shanghai
SCB's Global Marketing & Communications Director will be speaking at the ICCA Congress in Shanghai next week. With a unique presentation at hand, she will be one of the speakers during "ICCA's got talent: unlocking the creativity amongst your staff and partners".
- (1888PressRelease) November 02, 2013 - KUCHING - Sarawak Convention Bureau's (SCB) Global Marketing & Communications Director, Mrs Amelia Roziman will be part of a line-up of notable speakers for "ICCA's got talent: unlocking the creativity amongst your staff and partners". This session is part of the Tuesday Education series that will take part on the 5th November 2013 during the 52nd ICCA Congress in Shanghai, China.
Mrs Amelia Roziman commented, "I'm thrilled to be presenting at the ICCA Congress in Shanghai. For this session, I will be performing the Ngajat Pua which is a traditional dance of the Iban tribe in Sarawak. This presentation goes beyond the customary cultural dances. We want to turn local encounters into a meaningful exchange of business ideas."
"Creativity has always been pivotal in the way we work at SCB and this session will help to highlight the importance of thinking out of the box to win more bids or encourage teamwork." Mrs Roziman added.
Originating from ICCA's annual talent show 20 years ago, this session will explore how companies can benefit from exploiting the skills, passions and potential of its staff and partners. Short stage performances will illustrate the range of abilities that can make a business difference, help to win a bid, save money, or inspire staff to greater heights. Discussions on how to incorporate these ideas will follow that can be incorporated into an organisation's business philosophy or corporate lifestyle.
Moderated by Mr Eric de Groot (Managing Partner, MindMeeting BV Netherlands) and Mr Mike van der Vivjer (Managing Partner, MindMeeting BV, Netherlands), Mrs Roziman will be joined by presenters: Ms Angeline Lue (KL Convention Centre), Mr Padraic Gilligan (Managing Director, Ovation Global DMC, INCON Group, Ireland), Mr Ryoji Maeshima (Fukuoka Convention & Visitors Bureau, Japan) and Ms Sarah Wang and team (China National Convention Centre, China-P.R).
