SANS Institute Brings World Class IT Security Training to Abu Dhabi in April 2014
SANS to offer three courses covering advanced network forensics, mobile device security and the creation of effective awareness programs.
- (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2014 - DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - SANS Institute, a cooperative research and education organization and the largest source for information security training and security certification in the world, brings world class IT security training to Abu Dhabi with three popular courses for information security professionals. Taking place in The Hilton International from Saturday April 26th to Thursday May 1st 2014, SANS Abu Dhabi 2014 offers six days of exceptional cyber security training led by three exceptional instructors.
Steve Armstrong leads FOR572: Advanced Network Forensics & Analysis. This course covers the most critical skills needed to mount efficient and effective post-incident response investigations. The comprehensive course teaches students how to use the tools, technology, and processes required to integrate network evidence sources into an efficient and effective investigation.
SANS Abu Dhabi 2014 also hosts Raul Siles, leading SEC575: Mobile Device Security & Ethical Hacking. A relatively new course, SEC575 has evolved rapidly to include BlackBerry 10, Apple iOS 7, and Android 4.3 devices and includes the skills needed to design, deploy, operate and assess a well-managed secure mobile environment. This course teaches the critical skills necessary to support the secure deployment and use of mobile phones and tablets in your organisation.
In addition, on May the 3rd and 4th, Tim Harwood will lead MGT433: Securing The Human: How to Build, Maintain and Measure a High-Impact Awareness Program. The course recognises that organisations have invested a tremendous amount of money and resources into securing technology, but little, if anything, into securing the human element resulting in people becoming the weakest link and the simplest way for cyber attackers to hack into any organisation. This valuable course teaches how to build an active awareness and education program that goes beyond just compliance and changes behaviours.
SANS offers discounts for students that register and pay prior to March 5th and for larger groups. For more information, please visit www.sans.org/event/abu-dhabi-2014.
