In a sparkling evening, 'Situationism' was inaugurated by Minister of State of Parliamentary Affairs and Planning Mr. Rajeev Shukla on October 28, 2013.
Curated by Kolkata-based art expert and historian Arun Ghose, the magnificent show displays artwork by master artists-Satish Gujral, Jogen Chowdhury, Ganesh Pyne, K. Laxma Goud and Ram Kumar.The art pieces showcased at the exhibition, focus on re-definition of modernity in this era of globalisation and address crucial issues such as cultural translations and time-space crossings.
Promoted by Sunil Joshan, Sanchit Art has the best of modern and contemporary Indian masters and cherishes the large gallery collection that has been built up over the years, which provides buyers and collectors a good choice of works. The gallery began operations with the 1st gallery in Agra at ITC Hotel - The Mughal in 2010.

To make it a seamless blend of art and the latest devices, Sanchit Art has taken its curatorial direction under the aegis of Arun Ghose who also has authored several books on leading Indian artists.
The evening witnessed the presence of well-known names such as Ramola Bachchan, Ajitabh Bachchan, Ajay and Naina Mago, Naseer Abdullah, Anjanna and Rajni Kuthiala, Paresh Maity, Neeraj Goswami and Geeta Chandran were among the dignitaries from creative fields present at the function.
