San Francisco N-Hance Franchise Earns Small Business Award

San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) June 08, 2010 - Due to their community involvement and successful business practice, the N-Hance franchise on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco has been selected to receive a new, prestigious award. Ken and Kellie McCord, franchise owners of N-Hance, were one of 15 small businesses to receive San Francisco's Small Business Week Award, selected out of a pool of more than 75,000. Ken said, "We feel blessed. It is really an honor to be highlighted. I feel proud of our team. They have worked really hard and have given a lot of themselves to the community."

The award was created by the Small Business Commission (SBC) and supervisors were each encouraged to select a small business to honor from their district. A small business is defined as one with fewer than 100 employees. Supervisor John Avalos chose to select N-Hance and two other businesses from District 11. The Supervisor's staff chose to select N-Hance because the company has generously donated to community events, hosted fund-raisers and activities in their space, and has contributed time and attention to corridor work.

Ken said it is part of his team's collective values to be heavily involved in the community. Their team works to help improve the infrastructure of the surrounding neighborhoods, he said, and they love to be involved in local activities and look forward to seeing their clients in coffee shops and public places."Each customer we serve is a neighbor," he said. "Our company has done a really good job not only serving clients, but establishing long-term relationships with our neighbors."
